The building is easily accessed from I-240, and it is located very close to the Wall Street Parking Garage. Parking in the garage is free for the first hour and then 75-cents for any additional hours. You are free to park anywhere that you like, but the Wall Street Parking Garage will likely be the most convenient option for you. The garage is entered from Otis Street.

• Take the Haywood Street Exit (exit #4C)
• At the top of the ramp go straight through the stoplight onto O’Henry Street
• Travel two blocks and turn right on Battery Park Avenue
• Immediately turn left on Otis Street
• Immediately turn left into the Wall Street Parking Garage

• Take the Montford Avenue exit (exit #4C)
• At the top of the ramp turn left onto Montford Avenue and go over I-240
• Turn left on Haywood Street
• Immediately turn right on North French Broad Avenue
• Travel over the crest of the hill and turn left on Otis street
• Travel one and a half blocks and turn left into the Wall Street Parking Garage

When exiting the Wall Street Parking Garage, exit on the Battery Park Avenue side of the garage (the side facing the Grove Arcade, not the side facing Wall Street). Turn to the right and walk half of a block to the entrance of the Flatiron Building at 20 Battery Park Avenue. The entrance is under a green awning on the right side of the street (south side). It is between Chai Pani Restaurant and World Coffee Cafe.

Take the elevator to the 8th floor (or the stairs if you are interested in some exercise). Usually there will be someone to operate the elevator for you. If no operator is present, then call me from the lobby (828.275.5692) and I will come down and get you. Turn left off the elevator. The waiting room is suite 818, and I will meet you there.
